As winter approaches, it’s time to warm up to new ideas and explore how AI/ML is transforming drug product development and manufacturing!

💡 The human gut is a moving target. Changes in pH, motility, and hydrodynamics can significantly affect drug release, leading to unexpected delays or even dose dumping. Capturing this complexity is a major challenge for traditional drug modeling approaches.

At the 9th APV Winter Conference 2027 AI/ML in Drug Product Development & Manufacturing, our colleague Dorota Danielak will present:
„From physiological chaos to experimental simplicity: a new workflow for biopredictive formulation assessment”, including:
👉 design of experiments and machine learning,
👉 sharing Physiolution’s approach to oral drug development.

By combining biopredictive dissolution testing, Design of Experiments (DoE), and machine learning, Physiolution aims to decode how variable gastrointestinal conditions influence drug release – helping bring physiological relevance to drug development before clinical trials even begin.
