Maciej Winiarski,
Ph.D., dr hab.
He graduated in physics from Wroclaw University of Science and Technology in 2009 (M.Eng., specialization: physical foundations of computer science). He received his Ph.D. in physics from Institute of Low Temperature and Structure Research (Polish Academy of Sciences) in 2013 and a postdoctoral degree (habil.) in 2020.
His research interests include simulations of various physical and chemical phenomena (computational physics and chemistry).
He values interdisciplinary research and focuses on technical aspects that are key to achieving novel results of high scientific importance, like numerical analysis, software development, complex data processing, and calculations for small issues as well as large-scale tasks using high-performance computers.
